Fir is an antiseptic and an antibacterial for the skin. It is used for muscle aches and pains and to soothe inflamed joints. It is also said to help with wound or bone healing, and may lower the pain of arthritis and/or osteoporosis.

Cypress oil is well-known for its astringent properties making it useful for skincare because it can tone, tighten, and balance sebum production. It  helps to restore skin's hydration and eases oil and dry skin issues.

Clary Sage contains an ester called linalyl acetate. Essentially, this powerful compound works to reduce skin inflammation, heal the epidermis and soothe skin. It calms rashes, balances the production of natural oil and sebum, and strengthens the skin and muscles.

Peppermint essential oil is used to soothe inflammation, irritation and itchiness on skin. It promotes wound-healing, and it is also touted as a natural remedy for soothing bug bites, and providing relief in pruritus, a common skin infection which leads to rashes, hives and itchiness. Aromatically peppermint oil is promoted for treating coughs and colds, reducing pain, improving mental function, relieving headaches and reducing stress.
